Policies/ Rates

 

WhattaRush Recording Studio books sessions on a first come-first serve basis. The session clock begins running PROMPTLY at the scheduled session start time and will stop for session breaks as needed. 15-30 minutes will be allotted prior to the scheduled session start time to allow for set-up of any outboard gear that will be used during the session. (Arrive at least 15 minutes early).

 

When Hourly Rates are booked, the minimum billed is the applicable Hourly Rate of $40.00 per hour for the first hour, and then based upon a rate of $20 per half hour. A $40.00 deposit for the first hour is required upon making an appointment at the Hourly Rates. We will hold NO appointments without a deposit. The deposit will be credited towards your overall cost. The deposit will be refunded ONLY if the session is cancelled by the client at least 4 hours in advance. If client reschedules the session, the deposit will then be credited towards the first hour of the rescheduled session. CASH, DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD, MONEY ORDER AND CASHIER’S CHECK will be accepted for deposits. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. The cost of Mastered Media/ Studio Masters in conjunction with hourly rates is as follows:

 

$5.00 per Blu-Ray Disc (Studio Masters)

$3.00 per DVD (Studio Masters)

$2.00 per CD (Mastered Media)

MP3 files via email or other client provided media formats are available at no additional charge.

 

Sessions booked at hourly rates will end when ALL forms of mastered Medias have been formatted and saved and or burned to appropriate media devices.

 

The remaining balance due will be calculated at the end of the session and must be paid before any final mixes and/ or master CDs, DVDs or Blu-Ray Discs can be released. CASH, DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD, MONEY ORDER AND CASHIER’S CHECK will be accepted for payment. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED.

 

ALL Debit and Credit Card Transactions are subject to 2.75% fee.

 

Block Time and Production Package 1 purchases require a 50% deposit due prior to the start of the first hour. Client may then pay towards the remaining balance throughout the remainder of the sessions with the final balance due prior to or upon completion of purchased hours before any final mixes and/ or master CDs or Studio Masters (Blu-Rays or DVDs) can be released. Production Package 2 require FULL payment prior to the start of the first hour. We will hold NO appointments without a deposit.

 

When Block Time is booked, Block Time must be completely used within 30 days (45 days for Producer Package #1) of original session date. Any remaining Block Time not used after the 30/45 day period will be forfeited and NO credit or refund for remaining time will be given. (30/45 day period does NOT apply to PRODUCTION PACKAGE# 2). When PRODUCTION PACKAGE# 2 is purchased, song project must be completed within 3 months of original session date. CASH, DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD, MONEY ORDER AND CASHIER’S CHECK will be accepted for payment. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED.

The block time rates are as followed:

$140.00-   4 hour block

$210.00-   6 hour block

$280.00-   8 hour block

$350.00- 10 hour block

$420.00- 12 hour block

$490.00- 14 hour block

$560.00- 16 hour block

$750.00- 24 hour block (PRODUCTION PACKAGE #1 = more savings)

$1000.00- UNLIMITED no. of hours for up to 3 months– 1 Song Limit (PRODUCTION PACKAGE #2 = Greater Savings!!!.)

All block hour packages includes choice of 2 “master” CDs or 1 “master” CD + 1 “studio master” DVD.

 

The cost of additional Mastered media/ Studio Masters in conjunction with block time or PRODUCTION PACKAGE rates are as follows:

$3.00 per Blu-Ray Disc (Studio Masters) / no charge for PRODUCTION PACKAGES

$2.00 per DVD (Studio Masters) / no charge for PRODUCTION PACKAGES

$1.00 per CD (Mastered Media) / no charge for PRODUCTION PACKAGES

Sessions booked at Block Time rates (excluding PRODUCTION PACKAGE #2) will end when ALL forms of mastered Medias have been formatted, and saved and or burned to appropriate media devices. Remaining Block Time will be determined at that time.

 

Rescheduling of canceled Hourly or Block sessions will be done at the discretion of WhattaRush Recording Studio.

 

All rates are subject to change without notice or obligation. Pricing updates will not affect current pricing for block time currently booked session or duration of current project.

WhattaRush Recording Studio promotes a Christian, family-type atmosphere. Profanity, alcohol, drugs or any illicit behavior is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises. Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed inside the facilities. If you have to smoke you MUST go outside.

Clients shall be held liable for any loss or damage to Studio property as a result of misuse, negligence or carelessness incurred by Client, employees of Client, guests of Client or agent of Client under Client's instructions.

 

WhattaRush Recording Studio is not responsible for any audio, samples, or midi sequence data that is lost due to electrical black outs during recording session.

 

Before tapes or any other materials leave the client's possession, the client should retain a safety copy so items can be replaced should they become lost or damaged.

 

Although WhattaRush Recording Studio will treat the client's material with the utmost care, we specifically deny liability for any damages or lost resulting from fire, or other casualty while client's materials are in the care, control or possession of WhattaRush Recording Studio.

 

Clients should provide their own insurance coverage as WhattaRush Recording Studio's policy does not provide protection for client's materials in our possession.

 

Clients are responsible for all shipping and handling charges. Should materials become damaged or lost in transit by mail carrier from WhattaRush Recording Studio, the client should immediately file claim with the carrier of goods for compensation of damage or loss.
